How It Works

Four steps

From the guitar in the closet to the stage

Nobody is asked to commit to anything before they have seen the room and met the person who would be teaching them. This is the whole path, start to finish.

  1. Skill assessment

We look at instrument experience, learning style and musical interests. The goal is not to test the student, but to place them where they can grow with confidence.

  2. Schedule the first lesson

Meet the instructors, see the space, and experience how Musicology works before committing to a program.

  3. Program placement

Individual lessons, group learning, band development, beginner or advanced, based on level and goals.

  4. Weekly lessons and rehearsals

Regular lessons that build skill, discipline and confidence, plus band rehearsals and performance preparation.

You can do step onethis weekend

The skill assessment is free and it takes about twenty minutes. During the Open House you can walk in without an appointment, tour the building, meet the instructors, and leave knowing exactly where a student would be placed.

One 45-minute private lesson. Band rehearsal if the student has been placed into one. Performance preparation when a show is coming. That is the rhythm, and it holds from Mini Maestros all the way through Headliners.
